She was predeceased by: her mother Gertrude Johnson Perkins; her son Wesley Thomas, Jr.; her grandson Jessie Elijah Dunnaway; her close friend Wesley Thomas, Sr.; and her siblings, David Perkins, Jr., Howard Perkins, Wilma Lee Perkins and Vivenell Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Perkins (Jazzlin), Andre Perkins, Lestley Dunnaway (Jessie) and Andrea Perkins (Gregory); her mother Apostle Gertrude Perkins; her siblings, Jerome Perkins, Arnold Perkins (Frankie), Allen Perkins (Phyllis), Marvin Perkins (Andrea), Rosemary Perkins and Abigail Walden; and her close friend Odell Calhoun. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host other relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the graveside services.
