He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Hooper; and his parents, Verlie Hooper and Sarah Meadors Hooper. He is survived by: his sons, David Hooper (Jacki) and Alexander Hooper; his siblings, Cornelia Bailey (Charles), Elaine Rackly (Myron) and Allen Anthony "Tony" Hooper; and his granddaughters, Katelyn and Addyson Hooper. He is also survived by two nieces; three nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
