He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lamar Cooper and Francis Morgan Cooper Lawrence; his wife Amanda Webb Cooper; and his brother Jerry R. Cooper. He is survived by: his stepfather Homer Lawrence; his children, Melissa Cooper Rogers and Brian Lamar Cooper (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Shelby Amanda Rogers, Ciera Brook Craig (Timmy) and Ashlyn Taylor Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Arthur Rogers and Cianna Elaine Craig.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.
