He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Johnson and Zilla Mae Lynch Johnson of Greenville, SC.; and his siblings, Edna P. Dillard, James, David, Stanley, Jackie and Dwight Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Boyd Johnson; his sisters, Geraldine Williams (James) of Mauldin, SC, Pamela Taylor of Taylors, SC and Antonia Ashmore Johnson of Killeen, TX; his aunt Thelma Lee of Cincinnati, OH; and his friend Sharon Walker of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
