With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Nix (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Williamston, South Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durant Nix and Lorena Owens Nix; and his siblings, Charles Nix, John Nix, Kenneth Nix, Margaret Beason and Joyce Spearman.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Nix; his sons, Chris Nix (Kristen) and Brad Nix (Julie); his brother Leonard Nix (Mary); his grandchildren, Cooper, Easton, Keely and Gabe; his nephew Kevin Nix; his great-nephews, Geoffrey Nix and Cory Nix; his niece Wanda Spearman (Tommy); his close friends, Walter, Yvonne McGee, Franklin, Maryann Jowers, Kyle, Rochelle, Brianna, Tyler McManis, Alan, Tina Glenn, Ray and Percy Belue; and his pet Mya.
