It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Coppedge Galloway of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Coppedge and Erma Stewart Coppedge; and her brother Raymond Coppedge Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Renfrow "Renny" Galloway; her children, Michael Galloway (Ashley) of Simpsonville, Lauri Galloway (Leisa) of Huntersville, NC and Mark Galloway (Gayle) of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Alex Galloway, Anna Galloway and Zack Galloway; her great grandchild Weston Galloway; her brother-in-law Bill Galloway of Sumter, SC; and her great-niece Jennifer Arnold. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Northside Methodist Church (435 Summit Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). A reception will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Methodist Church.
