We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2021, at the age of 96, Josh Preston Lackey (Greenville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh Preston Lackey, Sr. and Rosalee Barwick Lackey; his wife Mildred Marshall Lackey "Tootie"; and his siblings, Myrtle Lackey, Elwood Lackey, Eulalee Lackey Hughes, Blondine Lackey Still, Huggins Lackey, Bowen Lackey and Doris Lackey Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Waddell (Bennie) of Greenville, Carol Ethridge (Dale) of Greenville and Josh Lackey III of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Graham, Chandler, Jessica and Ben.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville or Paxville Baptist Church in Josh's name.
