She was predeceased by : her father Willie C. Daniels, Sr.. She is survived by : her husband Keith DeRita; her mother Peggy Lee; her children, Kimberly Goodman (Chris), Brian DeRita and Stephen DeRita; and her grandchildren, Brianna, Kylee, Conner, Braxton and Kyler.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest Chapel (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
