It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Howard Jones Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sr. Jones and Edith Jones; his siblings, Ruth Jones, Fay Jones Dyer (Charles) and Parham Jones (Polly); his grandson Christopher Adam Jones; his nephew Phillip Jones; and his daughter-in-law Susan Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Jones of Newry and Leann Putman of Greenville; his grandson Will (Alex); his niece Carol Smith; his great-nephew Kyle Dillard; his pet Molly; and also, Liam and Abby.
A reception will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
