With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline McCarson (Greenville, South Carolina), born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack McCarson; her parents, William Luther and Mattie Hicks Smith; her sons, Daryl and Timothy; her grandson Chris McCarson; and her siblings, Wayne, Joe Smith, Joyce Patton, Margie Burns and Ruth Traynham.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Holloway of Greenville, Michael (Joyce) of Chapin and Roddy McCarson (Brenda) of Gilbert; her daughter-in-law Brenda McCarson of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Roddy, April, Ashley, Brooke, Mark and Tiffany. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
