She was predeceased by: her parent Alexander Carter; and her siblings, Rosa Lee Kershaw, Eloise Pegues, Alexander Carter and Edward Leroy Carter.
She is survived by: her parent Rebecca Wiley Carter; her children, Anthony M. Carter of Greenville, S. C., Vanessa Porter (Lester) of Grovetown, GA and Sabrina Carter of Jersey City, N. J.; and her sisters, Georgiana Jefferys, Betty Ann Brooks (Ben), Ethel Miller, Willene Senior, Gracie Maxey, Brenda Washington and Lynda Dennis.
