She was predeceased by: her husband Morris Melvin of Greenville; her parents, Calvin Fowler and I. B. Fowler; and her siblings, Evelyn Barnett, Carolyn Sims, Grace Fowler, Claude Fowler and Robert Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Eva M. Bragg (Jack) of Greenville and Henry C. Melvin (Elaine) of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Harold Fowler (Joann) of Greenville, Earl Fowler of Greenville and Linda Ashmore (Riley) of Greenville; her granddaughters, Melissa Aderhold (Brian) of Anderson, Michelle Bostick of Greenville and Nancy Hanks (Wayne) of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Alessa Norton of Greenville, Michael Mason of Greenville and Hailey Harrison of Taylors; and her great great grandchild Ember Parrington of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pametto Mortuary (1017 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Palmetto Mortuary (1017 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607). A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
