He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie M. Bowens and Bernice Webb Bowens; and his siblings, Charles Henry Bowens, Rayfoyd C. Bowens, Linda Dickeyson and Bernice Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Lynne" Thomas; his granddaughter Alexandra O. Phillips of Greenville, SC; and his siblings, Herbert (Mary Jean), Larry Bowen of Easley, SC and Clara B. Carter (Marlon) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Graceland Mortuary (4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
