He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Odell Bowens and Letha Mae Rosemond Bowens; and his brother Jerry Bowens. He is survived by: his wife Karen Beeks Bowens of Greenville; his daughters, Annette Gordon of Detroit, MI and Washica Rhodes of Easley; his stepdaughters, Shannetra Owens of Mauldin and Quiona Bowens of Greenville; his sons, Perry Bowens (Ivette) of Greenville, William Bowens, Jr. of Greenville and Antonio Rhodes of Easley; his stepson Terrance Bowens of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Emily B. Sullivan (Willie) of Greenville, Amy Preston (Tommy) of Easley, Gladys Gillespie of Easley, Jocelyn Allgood of Brooklyn, NY and Leroy Bowens of Greenville; and his great grandchild Dorothy Heyward Bowens of Greenville.
