He was predeceased by : his parents, Pedro Galindo and Adalberta Zavala; and his siblings, Efigenia Galindo, Humberto Galindo, Juan Galindo, Alberto Galindo and Jose Galindo.

He is survived by : his wife Elvia Mendez of Galindo; his children, Javier Galindo (Griselda Flores), Lorena Galindo, Jose Juan Galindo (Guadalupe Lopez), Elvia Galindo (Fernando Castillo), Erika Berenice Galindo (Carlos Eriberto) and Luis Galindo (Elena Medina); and his siblings, Maria Luisa Galindo and Claudio Galindo. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
