It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hamilton Chastain Jr. of Greenwood, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Hamilton Sr. and Vera Pace Chastain; his wife Peggy Chastain; and his brother Tommy Chastain. He is survived by : his children, Kaye Thomas (Jason) of Greenwood, Chuck Chastain of Easley, Tommy Chastain (Sonya) of Easley and Kenny Chastain (Tracy) of Morganton, NC; his grandchildren, Jordan Cumbee (Jared), Erin Dunham (Charlie), Noah Thomas, Eli Thomas, Asher Chastain and Kaylee Chastain; and his brother Billy Joe Chastain (Rhonda) of Williamston.
