It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Lucius Baltzegar Jr. (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Norway, South Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifton Lucius Baltzegar, Sr. and Clatie Lou Baltzegar; his former life partner Mildred "Millie" Hair Baltzegar; his sisters, Barbara Jones and Millie Stanton; and his stepson Michael Meyers.
He is survived by : his wife Frances Brannon Meyers Baltzegar; his children, Starr Baltzegar Mabes of Marietta and George Mack Baltzegar (Lisa) of Buchanan; his stepchildren, Mark N. Meyers (Anna) of Abbeville and Elizabeth "Beth" Meyers Wise (Bobby) of Richmond Hill, GA; and his granddaughters, Kristen DeMao (Nick), Rebekah Mabes, Victoria Dale (Andy), Nicole Baltzegar, Katie Howard (Michael), Sara Wodraska (Joe) and Michelle Meyers.
