Elroy C. Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 96, Elroy C. Davis (Greenwood, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Davis and Luna Mae Graham Davis; his son-in-law Richard Davis Pearce, Jr.; and his siblings, Lafayette Grover Davis, Gladys Pearl Davis Rogers, Edith Mary Davis, Westfall, Nella Jo Davis West, Betty Sue Davis Jackson, Franklin Delano Davis, Kathryn and Eufaula Davis Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana Davis Pearce of Plum Branch; his grandchildren, Michael Davis Pearce (Kayla) of Plum Branch and Jennifer Pearce Dunn (Christoffer) of Hodges; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Davis Dunn, Annalyn Paislee Dunn, Wyatt Davis Pearce and Fynlee Anne Pearce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1425 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Infantry Museum—an, especially meaningful place Roy enjoyed visiting with his great-grandson, Rylan—at 1775, Legacy Way, Columbus, Georgia 31903, in honor of his dedicated military service.
