With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marietta Rachels (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Comer, Georgia, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Cecil Vernon Rachels; and her parents, William Lester and Etta Mae Christian Seymour. She is survived by : her children, Gail Rachels Carruth (Larry) of Greenwood, Larry Rachels of Greenwood and Janice Banister (John) of Bradley; and her stepson Werner Meyer of Germany. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
