It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Hembree (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Roger, Sr. and Betty McPhatter Hembree. He is survived by: his children, Wylie Ray Hembree (Meg) of Greenwood, Kevin Nicholas Hembree (Stephanie) of Irmo and Kaitlin Hembree McManus (Michael) of Taylors; his mother-in-law Daisy Dukes Rodgers of Greenwood; his siblings, Wendy Hembree and David Hembree; his brother-in-law Rev. James Rodgers (Lynn) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Natalie Rose McManus and Steven Dukes Hembree.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel using current CDC Guidelines regarding social distancing including face masks, with Rev. James Rodgers officiating.
