He was predeceased by : his parents, John B. Long and Virginia "Jennie" Thomas Long. He is survived by : his children, Nathan Long (Tara) of Anderson and Lindsey Versprille (Abe) of Summerville; and his grandchildren, Camden Long, Alaina Long, Sawyer Versprille and Sadler Versprille. He is also survived by one aunt and several cousins.
