It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Kinard (Greenwood, South Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Prater and Lillie Mae Fitzgerald Prater; her son John Rodney Kinard; her son-in-law Mickey Smith; and her grandson Marshall Kinard.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Allen Kinard (Cathy) of Pelion, Janice Green of Ninety Six and Barbie Smith of Greenwood; her sister Josephine Gray of Mauldin; her sister-in-law Patsy Edwards of Dawsonville, GA; and her grandchildren, John Blease, Chris Blease, Dawn Reed, Shauna Collum, Heather Green, Michelle Leopard, Jennifer Ergle and Tiffany Rowe.
