He was predeceased by : his parents, John "Dick" Douglas and Janie Reames Dixon; and his sister Faye Vaughn. He is survived by : his close friend Janet Teague of Greenwood; his son Jeremy Dixon (Ashley) of Colorado; his sister Ruby Dixon Johnson (Jimmy) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Savannah Dixon, James Dixon, Ashley Munoz, Brooklyn Parker, Abigaile Leigh McCary and Jason Dean McCary, Jr..
