She was predeceased by: her husband Hiram Calvin Johnson; her parents, John Hudson and Josephine Meister Church; and her siblings, Eugene Church, John Church, Joe Church, Pat Forrester and Shirley Marlow.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Pruitt (Michael) of Greer and Kay Elmore (John) of Greenwood; and her grandchildren, Bradley Pruitt of Taylors, Kelsey Pruitt of Greer, Captain J. C. Elmore, III of Tacoma and Hannah Elmore of Greenwood.
