She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest L. Hanks and Ruby Burrell Hanks; and her sister Joan Casey. She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Johnson (Victor) of Taylors, Gwen Starnes (Gary) of Taylors, Marie Sherbert (Barry Shadoan) of Taylors and Joe Dean Wood, Jr. (Deborah Williams) of Taylors; and her brother Ronald Hanks of Taylors. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
