He was predeceased by: his mothers, Mae Savage Satterfield and Annie Lou Godfrey Satterfield; his children, Danny Satterfield and Sharon Moore; and his siblings, Choen Satterfield, Euline Henson and Gussie Walden.
He is survived by: his son Leonard Satterfield; his grandchildren, Haley, Hannah Satterfield and Chris Moore of Greer; his siblings, Katherine S. Pierce, Shirley Kelley (Bill) of Greer and Marvin Satterfield (Dale); and his nephew Roy Walden of Woodruff. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
