She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fredrick and Letha Smith Garrett; her grandchildren, Donald Lee Duck and Kandys Williams Batson; and her siblings, Carlos Garrett, Jewel Reed and Jean Thorne.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Duck; and her children, Joey Duck (Kim) of Greer, Perry Duck (Janelle) of Woodruff, Ricky Duck (Debra) of Greer and Sharon Duck Williams (Wayne) of Lyman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
