He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Cynthia Brown Elder; and his siblings, Dewey Elder and Audrey Ross. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Campbell (Eddy) of Greer and Donna Hussey (Thomas) of Greer; his brother Robert Leon Elder of Greer; his grandchildren, Connor Campbell (Gabrielle), Christian Campbell, Jordan Hussey, Thomas Andrew Hussey (Haleigh) and Hunter Hussey; and his great grandchildren, Coral Hussey and Hunter Hussey.
