We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2022, at the age of 98, Dot Mills Whitener (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Whitener; her parents, Bunyan Mills and Lizzie Nodine Mills; and her stepdaughter Joeanne Slay. She is survived by: her son Steven Whitener of Greer; and her niece Shelby Lance of Campobello. She is also survived by two grandchildren; two step-grandsons; twelve great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Northwood Baptist Church Nursery, 888 Ansel School Road, Greer, SC 29651.
