He was predeceased by: his wife Lorene Mitchem Parker; his parents, John Manton and Hettie Shockley Parker; his son Eddie Lee Parker II; and his siblings, Jimmy Parker and Hilda Pake.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Bridwell (Jackie) of Woodruff, Gaye Miller (Charlie) of Lyman and Wendy Fowler (Jeff) of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Bridwell (Allison), Alicia Padgett (Josh), Samantha Parker, Michael Parker (Taylor), Jordan Miller, Jeremy Fowler, Jillian Miller and Grayson Fowler. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
