She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Latta; her parents, Coleman Gilliam and Marie H. Gilliam; and her siblings, Eugene Gilliam, Charlesetta Rosemond and Marion Gilliam.
She is survived by: her children, Janet L Young of Greenville, SC and Thomas Latta (Norma) of Greer, SC; and her sister Vivian Rice of Norwalk, CT. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
