It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen R. Blackwell (Greer, South Carolina), born in Ontario, California, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Durham H. Blackwell; her parents, Jackson Robertson and Ione Brassfield Robertson; her son Danny Blackwell; her siblings, Vic Robertson, Doug Robertson, Wesley Robertson and Dorothy Finley; and her grandchildren, Hunter and Ashleigh Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Clayton of Greer, Gary Blackwell (Kathy) and Chris Blackwell (Julie) of Greer; her daughter-in-law Jane Blackwell of Lyman; and her brother Frank Robertson of Ontario, California. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
