She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Simons and Jessie Moore Simons. She is survived by: her husband Louis C. Heaston, Sr.; and her children, Patricia Robinette (Gerald), Jerrie Whitlow (Arlie), Carolyn Smith (Milburn), Louis Charles Heaston, Jr. (Linda) and David C. Heaston (Joanna). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
