She was predeceased by: her husband John Benjamin Mason; her parents, Walter Alvis and Hattie Mae Cannon Clark; and her siblings, Leonard Clark, Damon Clark and Earlene Clark Nations.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Mason Morris (Palmer) of Asheville, NC and Melinda Mason Lyall (Keith) of Wilkesboro, NC; her sister Charlotte Clark Murphy of Taylors; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Morris Rice (Chad), Rebecca Morris Lewis (Sam), Benjamin Marsh Lyall, Samuel Keith Lyall and Allison Everette Lyall; and her great grandchildren, Adeline Rice and Daniel Rice.
