He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Gosnell and Ruth Marcus Gosnell. He is survived by: his son Ted E. Gosnell (Pat) of West Union; his siblings, Clarence Gosnell (Nina) of Seneca, Charles Gosnell of Seneca, Alvin Gosnell (Joyce) of Westminster, Eunice James of Westminster and Hazel Bolt of Seneca; his grandson Cody Creel (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Rayden and Talon.
