He is survived by: his wife Eula Mae Benson; his children, Jackie Miller (Kevin) of Chesnee, SC, Stacey Benson (Linda) of Boiling Springs, SC, Troy Benson of Spartanburg, SC and Mario Benson of Spartanburg, SC; and his sister Bridy Jones (Samuel) of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
