With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Pitts (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Drayton Pitts, Sr. and Sara Elizabeth "Sally" Woods Pitts; and his brother Douglas Pitts, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Allen Pitts; his children, Barry Staggs (Lisa) of Jacksonville, Rex Staggs (Brittany) of Greer, Miranda Staggs of Greer and Sheila Staggs-Brown (Chad) of Taylors; and his grandchildren, Chad, Kyle, Nicholas, Jacob, Rya, Amber and Chloe. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
