We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2020, at the age of 90, Hortense Searcy (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Horace Searcy; her parents, Thomas Roy and Lina Jones McCoy; and her brother Grady L. McCoy. She is survived by: her children, William Horace Searcy, Jr. of Taylors and Joyce Ann Searcy of Taylors; her grandchildren, Lauren Searcy of Taylors, Christopher Searcy of Inman and Chandler Searcy of Myrtle Beach; and her close friends, Larry Blackmon of Taylors and Arnold Carroll of Taylors.

Memorials may be made to Palladium Hospice, 1700 John B. White Sr. Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29301.
