She was predeceased by: her husband James Ashmore Bennett; her parents, Paul J. Hamby and Clara Mae Greene Hamby; and her siblings, Paul J. Hamby, Jr., John Harold Hamby, Fred Olin Hamby, Frances Hamby Pearson and Clara Hamby Satterfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Ann Bennett Cason of Greer; her brothers, Charles "Red" Hamby of Greer and James "Tee" Earl Hamby of Greer; her grandchildren, Kelly Cason Long (Barry) of Greer and James Marcus Cason (Ginger) of Moore; her great grandchildren, Jordan Long, Dylan Long, Sarah Smyre and Dakota Morrow; and her great great grandchildren, Harper Long, Sadie Long and Archie Bennett Long.
