He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Ann Compton Burdette; his children, Jimmy Burdette of Gray Court and Terrie Straub (Eddie) of Travelers Rest; and his siblings, Robert Burdette of Greer and Nancy Pryor of Duncan. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
