With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Carithers (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on November 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Adam and Velie Tyner Carithers; and his son Dennis Barry Carithers. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Loretta Burden Carithers; his daughter Kimberly Carithers Cheshier (Kenneth) of Greer; his brother Floyd Carithers (Emily) of Aiken; his grandchildren, Karla Cannon (Shane) of Greer, Kristin Woodard (Kasey) of Taylors, Laura Cook (Barry) of Tennessee and Jim B. Carithers of Greenville; his great grandchildren, Drew Cannon, Kenzie Woodard, Chloe Cannon, Kolby Woodard, Klaire Woodard, Abby Stracner (Ronnie) and Austen Layne; and his great great grandchildren, Weston Stracner and Micah Layne.
