She was predeceased by: her husband James Mike Knighton; her parents, James Carlos Evans and Doris Ruth Smith Robison; her daughters, Amy Evans and Amanda Evans; her brother David "Buddy" Evans; and her granddaughter Kaide Kelly.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Kelly (Tim) of Duncan and Kayla Chan (Sergio) of Simpsonville; her sister Kathy Evans of Greer; and her grandchildren, Abbigale Kelly, Brianna Kelly, Carter Kelly and Elon Chan.
