It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Billy Holland of Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Holland and Ethel Wiles Holland; and his siblings, Mary Ruth Holland Burgess, Elaine Holland Baggarley, Phyllis Holland and Dwight Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brinkley Holland (Lib); his children, Nancy Elizabeth Holland (Beth) and Charles Eric Holland (Adia); his grandchildren, Alexandra Chandler Holland and Charles James Holland; his brothers, Jimmie Holland (Mary Frances) and Robert Holland (Evelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Faye Brinkley McManus and Jerry Leonard (Terrie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID precautions, there will be no service at this time, but a celebration of life will be scheduled later.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Holland Memorial Fund at St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
