He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Clayton and Lona Mae Pace Johnson; his wife Frances Irene Wooten Johnson; his children, John David Johnson, Jr. Lyman (Pam), Bambi Irene Johnson of Lyman, Myra Annette Sweatt (Joel) of Williamston and Melissa Mae Gravley of Lyman; his brother Clyde Johnson of Greenville; his grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Cheyenne, Malachi of Daulton, J. J. and Jeffrey; his great grandchildren, Bryleigh and Everleigh; and his brother Arthur Johnson.
