He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton J. Perkins and Ina Ellen Perkins (Dykes); and his brother Howard Jameson. He is survived by: his wife Clara L. Snyder; his children, James Perkins of Greer, SC, Julia Beers of Pleasantville, Mary Terwilliger (Charles) of Titusville, Mike Perkins (Lisa), AJ Perkins (Barb) of Travelers Rest, SC, Howard Perkins of Corry and Karen Perkins of Greer, SC; and his sisters, Barbara Abraham of Warren, MI and Dorothy Pike. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
