He is survived by: his children, Reba Roque (David) of Chesnee, Glenn Howard of Greer and Kenneth Howard of Greer; and his siblings, E. J. Howard of Greer, J. L. Howard of Greer and Ann Gilbert of Travelers Rest. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
