He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Jones Ponder; and his parents, T. Herman Ponder and Theotha Hempley Ponder. He is survived by: his son Ron K. Ponder (Maria) of Lexington; his granddaughter Stephanie Ponder Farley (Bryan); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Wren and Anna.
