It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise G. Mayfield (Greer, South Carolina), born in Campobello, South Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe David Mayfield; her parents, Andrew Gilbert and Eudora Gilbert; her siblings, Carl Gilbert and Ruby Gilbert; and her son-in-law Marion Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Thompson and Cheryl McPhee (Gordon); her grandchildren, Briana Wright (Lance), Lauren Torres (Erick), Mark Thompson (Lacey) and Brad Thompson (Ariana); and her great grandchildren, Addison Thompson, Calleigh Wright, Luke Thompson, Caide Wright, Barrett Thompson, Noah Torres and McKinley Thompson.
