It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Self Griggs in Greer, South Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph T. Self and Blanche Gettys Self; and her husband Dr. F. Keith Griggs. She is survived by: her children, Lynn G. Pennington (Essel) of Greer, SC and Gregory K. Griggs (Melanie) of Henderson, NC; and also Dr. Thomas R. White of Cherryville. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
