She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas A. Garren; and her parents, Robert Samuel Smith and Nellie Elizabeth Brinkley. She is survived by: her children, Bettina Krause (Mark) of Greer and Ronald D. "Ron" Garren (Karen) of Winder, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kimberly Garren, Katie Clem (Ryan), Colton Krause (Kayci) and Jacob Krause; and her great grandchild Caroline Grace Clem.
